Emergence

Imagine a painting so alive it can’t be contained. A piece that starts as something familiar and traditional, then blooms into something unexpected. My vision for this piece is to bridge the space between our modern, urban world and the places we are often disconnected from. Nature. By taking an object born from the city streets and letting it become over grown, and softened by organic forms. I hope it feels like a small reminder to stay grounded in nature, even as we move through our busy every day lives.
